For more than 20 years, the Ad Age Leading Women program (known as Women to Watch prior to 2020) has celebrated women who create opportunity and drive transformation within the industry. It’s been our privilege to watch these women continue to succeed; many of them are now industry icons in their own right.
This year we want to create opportunity for those just getting their start in the industry. The Ad Age Leading Women Rising Star Award honors women who are marking their mark on the advertising, marketing and media world, showing the promise and potential of great leadership in a short period of time.
All entries are FREE and open to women who reside and work anywhere in the world.
Final deadline
June 8, 2022, at 5 p.m. EDT
Rising Star honorees will be profiled on AdAge.com and invited to attend our Leading Women event in New York City on August 9, 2022.

Investing in rising talent can sow the seeds of leadership. Ad Age is looking to honor women in non managerial roles who have made an impact in the advertising, marketing and media world in the last year. The Rising Star Award will highlight up-and-comers who have shown initiative, creativity, and growth in their field.
Honorees will be handpicked by the editorial staff at Ad Age. Winners will be notified in July, profiled on AdAge.com and invited to attend an event taking place in New York City in August.
Entry requirements
You will be asked to submit a compelling 350-word summary explaining why you (or your nominee) deserves our Rising Star honor. Candidates must have only been with their current company for 1-3 years in a non-managerial role. Their position must impact marketing or advertising in some way. Note: This is not a lifetime achievement award; specifically, we look for meaningful or measurable accomplishments within the past 12 months.
Nominees can reside and work anywhere in the world, but entries must be made in English.
